How do i switch between Dashboards

Ok i currently have Unleash X but i also want to know how i can switch from Unleash X to Evox. like is there a special dashboard switcher or something.


P.s> i havnt installed Evox yet

 

i dont know if there is a special switcher to cahnge dashboards but i used the softmod installer deluxe and it came with both dashboards unleash x and evox when i wanted one i just installed it then restared my xbox and when i wanted to change it i did the same thing and i had no problems.

 

you can use an app callrd x-select off the aid auto installer disk to select which dash you wanna use and can swap back and forth betwen which ever dash you wanna use as a boot dash.

 

Is there another place to get this App i dont have Aid Installer disk

 

You can get it from the #xbins on eefnet, get mirc client and a FTP program like FlashFXP or SmartFTP.

 

why do u want Evox??
Unleashx is way better and still updated....

Evox is more simpler to use. but i still agree that unleash x is better

yeah i defenetly prefer unleash over evox its easier to use and view things.

 

i also agree can you help me switch from evox to unleash x ..? WILL MY MODS STILL WORK OR WILL THEY BE INAFFECTIVE? I WORKED TO HARD FOR IT TO GO AWAY... LOL ;]

 

i wouldnt really mess with your main Dashboard becuz if anything goes wrong it will boot with an error message i would just put the other dash in my apps folder, and the mods will not be harmed by the dashboard change...

i downloaded the avalaunch files from xbins.. I was wondering which files i actually have to send to my xbox because i have a couple of files. _old, Avalaunch048.nfo, Avalaunch.0.49.2-MultiGameDisk.rar, Avalaunch.0.49.3.rar. Also do I have to delete the old dashboard from my xbox and where is it located. I havent used my xbox in so long that i dont remember

 

you will need to extract the dashboard from one of them .rar files

i think avalaunch is the best because of the many abilitys it has it transfers faster with qwix and u can create a iso strait from the dvd drive in the xbox just to many things to list lol
