Hello everyone. i am working on getting a new jewel, but first i need to take off my old one. and id rather find out how to take it off then try to and have a chance of breaking somethin. so how do i take off my original green xbox jewel? is it stuck on with double sticky tape?
I took mine off yesterday when I painted my xbox. I used the freezer method and it worked good for me, but it takes a while and patience. I left mine in the freezer for 2 hours then hit the jewel from the underside of the case with the handle of a screw driver and it popped right off. There was very very little glue stuck onto it . I then used goof off to clear the jewel and it worked like a charm. Crystal clear .. but I painted it..
Oo yeah I've seen those nice choice . Are you going to be painting your xbox, adding LED's, etc? Or just replacing the jewel?
well im accualy adding LED's to the controler ports and putting a brighter one in the eject button. and iv already put a decal kit on the xbox as u can c on the pic so im not gunna be painting it. and im adding cold cathode lights underneath
