i bought a couple of new magazines yesterday & was reading them on the train when i came across an article about tweaking windows xp for better performance when playing games.. it involved creating a new user account, going into that account & then selcting system & going to the advanced tab & selecting settings under where it said performance. then checking the circle where it said adjust for best performance. it then went onto say something about editing/creating a registry key & a couple of other things.. but unfortunately i cant seem to find the article & have been through both magazines about 20 times.. the magazines were custom pc (issue 038) & windows xp made easy (issue 105).. i would really appreciate it if anyone knows where this article is or even what else im missing about the registry key & whatever else is missing.. thanks for any help i may recieve guys :-]
