how do i unlock my xbox hard drive

    my firends xbox has been throwing a code and we dont really know what this code means. well we decided that we want to try and put a soft mod on his xbox the only thing is, we dont know how to unlock his hard drive, we have the program that should unlock his xbox the only thig is we need the password to unlock his hard drive if anyone can help us out that would be great

    most likey u will need a mod chip to fix, u need the eeprom to unlock it. what code is it??

    the code is 21 i dont know what it mean but we got a new hard drive and were trying to put a soft mod on that will it work? if so how do we do it?

    You need to hotswap! Just replace your entire C:\ folder with a clean MS Dash 5960
