Im having a problem with little glitches and such in my dvds. Im not sure but I think it may be because I have programs running in the background that isnt on my system tray. I saw there is a way to suspend all other programs in Msconfig while I burn till the next time I reboot my comp but after playing with it a while (and ending up having to restore my registry to a previous day cause I screwed up something) I figured Id ask here what exactly do I do?

go start and run and type msconfig, when it opens go to start section and check/uncheck, you will need to reboot and will get a warning but you can disable this. A good thing to know about as whenever you ask support for a software prob the manufacturers always get you to do this yet they write there software to go in the startup, hhhmppph.

    what O/S are you using?
use task manager to bring up your tasks lists (hold ctrl+alt+del) and it will show you the processes running, then do a cross reference of teh processes on google by searching for the process name..
    hope that helps
    peace
