There is also a great app called win4lin (winforlin) not sure on the spelling... anyway, it allows you to use your windows applications on a linux OS.

I like the Ubuntu linux. There is actually a bootable disc you can download from the Ubuntu website. So if you want to check it out, you can run it with out ever installing the OS. I tried it and love it. It is running on my home network. Just not on my PC that my internet connection goes through. http://www.ubuntu.com/download/ Check It OUT!
