I down loaded a video from my Jvc video camera and burnt it on to a dvd and it wouldn,t play on my tv.
It was sent to my vidoe windows and then I copied it to the Dvd burner the first time. Now I tried to sent it to my new program video explosion and any it still didnt play on my tv dvd player?
Is it in MPEG2 format? If it isn't, get TMPGEnc and transcode it. Then get a DVD authoring program such as TMPGEnc DVD Author and follow it's instructions. Then use something like Nero to burn the files to the DVD in the right way. Players can only read compiled VOB, IFO, and BUP files that are made with authoring programs, you can not simply copy the video to a blank DVD.
Read the guides on this site. [bold]They should help a lot[/bold]. You will see described what I have told you before.
newbies to video should use mydvd for burning AKA authoring. http://www.sonic.com/products/mydvd/mydvd/whatsnew.asp for editing use pinnacle studio 9 all others premiere pro 1.5 with encore dvd 1.5
