I want to be able to backup my dvd disks by ripping them to my hard drive. I have seen friends use Nero to make image or nrg files of dvd disks. Then you take the image and play it in a virtual dvd drive. Directions on how to make this happen will be very much appreciated. Thanks
Nero does not RIP movies. You need a Ripping program to get it to the hard drive first. Check out the Ripper programs here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/ There are very good Ripper programs that are free. So, don't be quick to buy one.
