How Good is HD Dvd Upscaling ???

    Hi,

    I ordered a Toshiba HD-A3. I read somewhere that
    they upscale as well or almost as well as OPPO Dvd
    Player's.

    Is this True ???

    Can't answer your question, however in Stereophile Magazine, the Oppo 980 gets top marks in upscaling dvds and is considered one of the best dvd/dvd-a/sacd players . Hope this helps

    it upconverts great. im not sure about the oppo. i dont have one.
