Im decoding half baked DVD which is a single layer disk and its going to take almost an hour to finish decoding! I just changed settings on my device manager b/c my pioneer 106 was only burning at 1x instead of 2x, should i change the settings back? I changed them to DMA mode.
adamryer, You want to be in the DMA mode NOT the PIO mode, I repeat, NOT the PIO mode. To tell the truth, different discs take different decoding times, it's not something I've ever worried about. I only am concerned when I can't get the job done at all.
