Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and new to the world of cell phones. I am looking into getting my first phone. I have searched my question a lot and cannot seem to find any answers. The phone i am strongly considering getting is the Motorola W385, though i don't think the phone model is relevant to my question. It has 32MB internal memory. There is no SD slot for expansion. So my question is - out of 32MB, how much space is being used by the phone already, and how much space is "extra" - i am asking because i would like to be able to add some ringtones and wallpapers and i want to know how much extra space i would have to do this. Any information you can give on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
that would be enough space if you are using downloaded, chopped, versions of songs for ringtones. if you want full blown mp3's as ring tones you better get a nicer phone that is SD card capable.
Thanx. I got my phone a few weeks ago and i'm using low quality mp3 clips (about 100kb each) - so far i've put 20 on my phone with no problem.
