Hi I have a Panasonic SA-PM25 Hi-Fi which is 4-6 years old and I'm wondering how I could add more speakers to it (without doubling up wires into the same socket). Although the system does sound good it does'nt give me the sound I'm looking for. I think maybe I can use an amp? ... Although each speaker has 4 wires instead of the usual 2 so this could cause complications.

If I cant add more speakers I'm thinking of buying a new system but it seems a waste as I like the one I have.

It all depends on the rate ohmage of your amp and speakers. Not all amps are the same and not all speakers are the same. If you put too much speaker on your amp things will blow. I suggest you check the rating of what you have before you shop for more.

If you want better sound maybe you should crack a book then listen to sound systems once you know something. I don't know what you have but it sound rinky-dink (the part about 4 wire per speaker). Panasonic doesn't make any high end stuff. Their top of the line is less than midway in quality.
