    Hi,

I have 5 of so xvid movies that i want to burn onto a data dvd but the only problem is that one of them is French and comes with subtitles in a another folder...

Is there any application that can prepare the movie with the added subtitles before i burn it?

If not then i have to burn it on a single dvd which is a total waste of space!

The movie also comes as cd1 and cd2 so i also want to merge this 2 together to make one whole - i can use movie toolbox for that but then will the subtitles work after i do that?

    Any help would be appreicated!

    Cheers

Merge the subs as well as the movie. For max compatibility the subs should be an ANSI srt and the movie should be avi with mp3 or AC3 audio.

You never said what format the subs were in. For text based subtitles you can use Subtitle Workshop. For VOBSub's I think the old vobsub install can with a util for joining.

Those are VOBSub's. They are bitmap based, but can be converted via OCR to text if you want.

What else would you expect? The video came from DVD, the audio came from DVD so it is no suprise that the subs come from DVD to.

    I'd recommend SubRip.
