Search function didn't help me much. Can't find a way to backup my own legitemate gamecartridges. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, which games are suited for (easily controlable by only stylus) children age 3-4? Thanks.
I hear that cooking mama is relatively easy for younger kids to pick up fairly quick. Its a simple game. Don't know where to point you for a cart backup solution Divineo.com perhaps?
I don't see there being any easy way of backing up NDS games onto a Slot-1 device as both the original and backup device must be plugged in at the same time which obviously isn't possible with slot-1 soloutions as they both need the same slot ¬_¬ Maybe one of the flash cart makers will develop a device to back carts up directly to your computer, like with GBA games - but until then your stuck.
again...REIN...if you already have your supercard/m3/ninja, or w/e, all you need to do is dl rein, boot it up, when it asks you to insert the original ds card, do so. then it'll ask you to save, and it'll be a .sav format or .dat, for m3 i believe (i'm a supercard user). if you have one of them new slot-1 solutions, like the m3 simply or r4, you won't be able to do this, since...you need slot 2 to back it up...
Is this about save files then? I assumed it was about backing up the ROM from the cartridge as saves were not mentioned anywhere.
You're right. I asked about backing -up the ROM. The ROMS are out there, so there has to be a way....
The only way I know of backing up the ROM uses a slot-2 card. The M3CF has a program available for it called dumper.nds this is what I have used in the past to backup my games, but it only seems to work on he M3CF model, i can't get it working on any other product. Also its a very hard file to find, i lost it in hard drive corruption a few weeks ago and havn't been able to find it again since (not that I was looking all that much though).
