I have multiple quicktime movies that I have taken with a digital camera and then imported on my computer. I have movie editing software but I cannot import the quicktime movies to the software. Do I have to change the file type to a mpeg, avi, etc.? What software do I need and where can I download it? Also, will I have any problem burning the poject to a dvd-r? Please help. Thanks.

I tried extracting the plug in to the tmpgenc folder, yet when I still try to import quicktime files using tmpenc I get an error message. Please help.
