how to burn avi file to dvd(so it will play in a dvd player)

    Hi, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME HOW TO BURN AN AVI FILE TO A DVD SO IT WILL PLAY IN A STANDALONE DVD PLAYER. THANKS (SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS)

    Never tried it before but I think you can select the video tab in toast 6, drop the file on it and select dvd on the left side.

    You could also try to find an app that will convert avi-quicktime.

    Do a search and you should come up with much info.

    yes,in the 'video' tab in toast select 'dvd-video'.
    Then drag the avi files to the window.Thats it...
    You can also preview the video,just click once on the screen of your video.

    But i know it takes a long time to burn an avi. to dvd.The hole encoding can take more then 5 hours
