How could I brun movies that are larger than 4.7 gega since all the dvd-r blanks are 4.7? could I burn the orginal dvd on 2 dvd-r? if yes how could I still have the dvd features like the main menu from which I could set the audio of the dvd or choose chapters to play?
    Thanks :)

I would have to agree with Nephilim on this one try DVD Shrink as it’s free and in my opinion one of the best DVD re-authoring and re-encoding tool out there.

And don’t forget to check out the guides here at Afterdawn they are excellent resource

Could u tell me what does the dvd shrink do? does it affects the quality of the dvd (sound & picture) ?

I heard that there is some programs are used in making dvd menus so that I can burn the orginal dvd on to 2 dvd blanks and have menu for each one is that right? and do u know names of programs like that?also I need to know names of some programs that detect the protection fo the dvds

Maybe youd care to read thru a few threads as all this has been mentioned numerous times raoufgm.

I'm sorry but I answer quicker to ppl that have at least tried to help themselves , even if it was only a little.

    Plus it is actually 4.37Gb & not 4.7Gb :)
