HOW TO BURN KARAOKE MUSIC??

    I am trying to find out what i need to burn karoake music.
    I have a dual layer burner on my laptop and a desk computer also that i could install a drive for, but im not sure what type or brand to buy. not sure if this will work or what software i would need to do this or what changes to laptop system i would need to do.
    If anyone has any information for me, i would like the help
