I have couple of movies on my PC which I had taken from my friend. Some of the movies have DVD folder under which I have VIDEO_TS folder in this folder I have the respective VOB, BUP and IFO files however when I try to burn this as a DVD Video in Nero I get a message telling "Allocation failed and this may not play on a DVD player." Once I went ahead and burned this on DVD but was unable to play it on my DVD player. Can some one tell me what exact is the DVD Structure and what are the naming conventions for the IFO BUP and VOB files? So that I can compare it with one I have and check which file are missing. What is the naming conventions for the files? For Eg: VTS_01_1.VOB. For some other movies I have only VOB files can I create the required IFO or BUP files so that they can be played on a DVD player. I heard we use IFO EDIT to create the ifo files. Please help!

Nero 7, select 'Nero Vision' or 'StartSmart' to create a new DVD.
Add the video files by selecting the the VOB or group of VOB's.
Example, a single VOB might be VTS_01_1.VOB.
    A group might be VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB etc.
After they are loaded, click on the 'Merge Titles' button.
Its on the lower left in a group of three.
If you don't merge the VOB's, you will get a menu item for each VOB.
    Proceed to burn.
