Well I have a capture card, and my console, that hooks up through composite cables (audio left, audio right, video) I can easily plug the yellow video jack into the composite in on my capture card and have it display and am able to record it just fine, but I have no audio, I have connected the audio out on my capture card to my line in on my sound card, but the two audio adapters on the composite cable won't fit into any of the jacks, in order to get audio what do I need to buy or do? Can you direct me to a place where I can order a composite cable that will enable me to hook up my consoles to my capture card and record them with audio? That's my first issue, my second issue is: Some of my consoles don't connect via composite cables, only through RF? My capture card can capture from cable tv, composite and s-video sources. As far as I know the dreamcast only connects through rf and not composite or s-video? Correct me if im wrong. Also, I can't record from say, an emulator, with my capture card directly, can I? Do I have to have a video card with tv out, hook that up to my computer, record my computer, then hook up the vcr and capture that? Thanks for any help! If you need more info please ask.
To Capture the audio you need a Simple adapter to go from the left & Right RCA audio Jacks to the Audio input Jack on your Line in Port..If you want you can PM me with your E-Mail address and I"ll send you a Picture of what one looks Like, You can Pick them up at a Radio Shack for a Couple Bucks..... You can not Capture from your TV out to your Capture Card, If you want to try to record what is on your Monitor look for a Screen Capture Program but even with that it will be Difficult because most PC"s can"t Play Games and Capture at the same Time.... As for Captureing from your DreamCast I wouldn"t have a Clue but I"m sure you can do it with some sort of Adapter.... Cheers
