How can I do this? I am looking to buy a pal video game for my xbox. I have my softmodded xbox set to video mode auto. Will this force the game to play on a ntsc tv? If not, how can i check if my tv supports pal too?
    Thanks for you help.

If you live in the US, then no your TV doesn't support PAL. Doesn't mean the game won't work though. I've tried two, and one worked just fine. The other was unplayable.

i have used my Xbox on 4 different TV's, and i am in the US.
All my PAL games played just fine. Although i do have a DuoX2 modchip in mine. the only real way to know is to try it. If it doesn't work set on auto, then set it to PAL and see if it works then.
I have used mine on a Samsung, Samtron, Advent & Magnavox.
