When I have looked at nero logs of mine i see it is using ffdshow to decode audio but using nero video decoder for the video. I have a feeling this COULD fix some of my failed burns. So using the latest version of Nero on Win XP SP2 is it possible to force nero to decode xvid files with the ffdshow codec or even xvid codeck instead of neros built in decoder?
for example here is part of a log: [00:02:42] AMCUIBase Asset created by user: class AVFileAsset [00:02:42] AMCUIBase - file paths: 1, first = 'c:\Fury 2007 cd3.avi') [00:02:42] MMTools SourceBuilder: building g:\Fury 2007 cd2.avi audio/0 [00:02:42] MMTools SourceBuilder: --- used source filters --- [00:02:42] MMTools {E436EBB5-524F-11CE-9F53-0020AF0BA770} - File Source (Async.)
