how to conver avi's to mpegs HDMI

I would like to know how to convert avi's to mpegs and especially in format HDMI

What do you mean in format HDMI? HDMI is a digital cable for connecting components to your tv. As for converting avi to mpg just look at the download section on this site.

 

I have a high definition tv and im getting high definition dvd player, how do i convert to high definition format.

Uh....are you just wanting to put your AVI files onto a DVD or what? There is no "HDMI" format. it is a cable to hook up electronise like a DVD player to your TV.

 

You would have to invest in a High Definition burner first. Then have HD content to burn, then insert in your HD player to view on TV. Other option is to spend big bucks on http://www.anchorbaytech.com/products/systems/vp20.php and upconvert everything to HD on TV
