    Hallo Cecelia !
I did what said and followed your instructions and downloaded ImTOO DVD creator, but it`s a trial version I got. It only will convert 30 mins free.
Any suggestions (other than the obvious one) on how to get round this problem ?

there are a lot of useful and qualititive programs to convert most popular formats too-geovid.com. Some of them have an option dvd-burner,so you don`t have to be tormented with using two or three tools instead of one.

    Hallo ARDILLA,
yes, you`ve got it it one - it`s torment!
If you`re not seriously into converting and all you really want is to watch the file you`ve downloaded on your stand-alone DVD player you might have a problem.
Okay, if you want to pay there`s lods of "do-it-in-one" progams, and I`m not ruling that out, but which one/s ??
On the other side, it`s fun to mess about with conversions and try some of your own ideas out to see how bright you are, but for me at the end of the day, I really don`t want to have to consult pages of instructions which I`m basically too tired to read, to get some results.
By the way Nero is really GREAT , but it takes forever. Quicker watching paint dry ?
Anyway, thanxs for the tip, I`m gonna check it out right away and get back.
