How to convert Divx to Xvid?

    Hi! I am very noobie in all about videos lol, i'd like to ask how can i convert a Divx video to Xvid?

    Also how do i reduce a videos size?

    If it's a matter of a player wanting to see 'Xvid' instead of 'DivX', then the Fourcc changer can take care of that.
    http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avifourcc.html

    Open the file, type 'xvid' and 'XVID'

    The two are practically interchangeable, DIVX backwards XVID..

    If the file really has to be converted then you can use VirtualDub.

    VirtualDub most recent stable

    http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/

    And you need the XVID codec

    http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Codecs/XviD-1.1.2-01112006.exe

    An AVI is compressed enough or do you mean a DVD?
