How to convert MPGs to DVD format

    I've been happily using AVI2DVD to burn some AVI files to DVD format, however, I now need to burn a mix of AVI's and MPG's to one DVD. Is there an easy way to do this ?

    Yeah, I've read a lot of threads recommending TMPGenc DVD Author. I'll put in the effort and learn to use it. But, if I've got a mix of mpg's and avi's to burn to the same disk will I have to convert them all to the same format or what ?

    I think that they have to be converted to MPEG-2
