how to convert stereo audio into dts or 5.1

    I have this old movie on dvd, I was wondering, If there's a way to convert my stereo audio dvd movie into a dts or 5.1 movie? Does anyone know which software can change the audio from my movie into something better.. I ripped the movie onto my computer, whats the next step. lol. thanks

    You cannot make 5 or 6 channels from a 2 channel source...well, you can, if you have the $ to buy Steinberg's software.
