how to convert vcd to avi

    hello im trying to convert vcd to avi. what is the best why todo this and with what software.thank you for any help.

    attar, is this truly free or is it just a trial version? It looks an aweful lot like spam to me.

    It's free.
    It does go home each time it runs and lets you know if there is an update and after each conversion it asks if you want to upgrade to the Pro version - however I also run it on another machine with an outgoing firewall and although it mentions that it cannot connect, it still functions without complaint.
