I've converted AVI, VCD, MP4, etc to DVD with Nero Vision, but I just got some windows media files on a CD that someone gave to my dad, but it can only be played on the computer. I've tried every damn program and nothing works. Any suggestions? If I posted this in the wrong forum I am sorry
There is a Windows media plug-in for Nero, not sure if that will do it, or if it just works for audio. However I also use winavi converter version 7.1 and that definately converts WMV files to DVD. http://www.winavi.com/en/video-converter/video-converter.htm
can that winavi converter version 7.1 convert copyrighted wmv files? if not how do you, i guess decrypt or decode these files? i brought some license to download these video clips, now its taking alot of space on my harddrive and wanted to copy them to a dvd,how can i do that? any help please
I have never tried it with copyrighted clips. I wasn't prepared to allow the plugins onto my pc to enable copyrighted clips and films to be played. You will probably need a seperate way of removing the copyrights such as DRM from downloaded films etc...
I have never seen it done, but you can read this thread and see if it helps at all. I use Camtasia as mentioned in this thread for other purposes, and it is very good software, but personally I would rather just rip a DVD than mess about with capturing and converting. Hope it helps anyway. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=108497
