Hello friends! I have a few movies stored on my HDD out of which I want to create a DVD. As all the movies are already in DVD format, encoding wouldn't be necessary. Now, as I want to add in two to three movies in a one DVD, I need to create menu's for it. Can you guys guide me as to how can I create menus and which is the software that can help me in this. I tried Nero, but th4ere seems to be some problem with it as every time I try it, it's gets held up which encoding agian. As I already have the files in DVD format, is it possible to create a menu without encoding the movies again? Thank you.
Tried DVDlab...Although the software seem to have good features, it is quite compicated for a newbie. Is there something better as my intention is just to make menus...
In Nero, use nero vision to group all the dvd files together then you can create a menu for them. It is quite simple to use.
did you try tmpgenc dvd author? its suppose to be quite easy, and sorry but nero is gonna do some kinda en/trans-coding no matter what you give it ...if you dun like tmpgenc here are a bunch of em: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=4#4 you really should give dvd laba chance its a little hard at first but worth the time in the end ...here are some guides on it: http://www.videohelp.com/guides.php...=%&listallusers=&search=Search+or+List+Guides http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/Help/quick.htm http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/tutorial/index.html (this has more advanced type stuff that make it worth your time) later -nomad311
I recently downloaded Ulead Movie Factory 5 for the basic purpose of creating Menus for DVD. I have a few movie stored in my HDD in DVD format. The problem is that whenever I want to add any movie to the list, the space taken by that movie is much more than it actually is. Say for example a movie of size 1.5 GB takes more than 4 GB and therefore I am unable to add multiple movies on a single DVD. This doesn't happen with any other software. Please guide me as to how can I overcome this problem. Thank you.
I'm not familiar with that program but i think it has something to do with the video settings. Lower the standard of the video and you should ne able to fit more dvds onto one disc.
