I tried burning a DVD-5 with music tracks only (mp3 and wma files). Some tracks that play perfectly in WMP couldn't be added to the compilation for some reason. Does anyone have experience with music-only DVDs? How can I control the order of the tracks, so that I get them to play in a specific order? I didn't see a function in Nero that lets you determine in which order the tracks are written to disc. Do I add complete folders or just the files? Or even better, is there any freeware available specifically for making music DVDs?
Do the ones that play in WMP but can't be added have copy protection - DRM - on them? That would be a reason Nero won't add them. The few music dvd's that I've done I just add the tracks individually in the the order I want them to play.
one more thing you can try. In NERO select "Make Data disc" instead of making a music disc. Same thing happened to me. I made a data disc, and my player still played it all, but I was able to put many formats on one disc. When I select make music dvd, it would not let me put my wav files on it.
Binkie, I don't think the track is copy-protected, as all the other tracks on the same CD could be copied just fine. I'll try ripping that track to hard disk again and see if it works then. Thanks
Since the other tracks can be added probably not a copy protection thing. If re-ripping the track(s) doesn't do it then post back the error message Nero gives.
