how to disable an onboard video card

    How do I change the primary video from onboard video to a pny geforce fx 5200 video card in my dell dimension 4600. I can't get the computer to use the new card. All I get is a blank screen after it boots up.

    in the bios, change onboard video to agp or pci depending in what slot the card connects to.
