Hi everyone, I need help so bad....I've got my movie and I've got my subs. It has 3 different spoken languages in the movie, English,German and French. All I want is the German and French subs. Is there a way to edit out the English speaking parts of the subs and be left with the German and French subs and to sync the final edit..Ive tried all kinds of things and I cant get it to work...Subtitle Workshop just crashes, Ive tried Subsync(still trying actualy) Furysync,Time Adjuster and VirtualDub...what am I doing wrong????.....please help
What type of movie? MPEG, AVI, MKV???? What type of subs? are they separate files? .sub/idx .srt .ssa??
Same as here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-158/edit_a_part_of_existing_subtitles-789922/ Try this fix, edited already, just not sure if in sync: http://www.mediafire.com/?zlyngtjm2w0
Hi attar, The movie is AVI and the subs are srt...I downloaded the movie without the srt file and got the srt from another site.
Hi cyprusrom, Followed your link and saw what was there...Thank you so much. Will start right now..will let you know what happens....watch this space lol...again, thank you.
Hi again cyprusrom, At last..it worked..checked to make sure the subs were in sync with the movie..twice just to make real sure. I used convertxtodvd to load the movie and the subs were added automatic....set everything in motion and waited till it was done...now have an excellent movie on dvd with the subs I wanted. Thank you for your help and thank you for the supplied link..still going to sit down and learn what to do...again..thank you.
You're welcome, glad you FINALLY got it to work!))) When the lack of synchronization is constant, the process is very simple, a one, two click. Don't give up on it, for future projects.
