    Hi,
I have a series of TV series which have two languages that is stereo L and R CHANNEL in my HD. I wanted to get rid of one language and leave the other intact. Because it is a stereo languages meaning when you play in the dvd player you can hear two languages.

Is there a software that is free to get rid one of the language and what are the steps that I need to go thru.?

I have tried Clonedvd2, nero, dvdshrink, imgburn but in vain.

Can someone help me in finding a very simple effective software that can split the sound languages and show me the steps and I need to take.

I would very much appreciate if anyone can help me out.

To be clear - is this a case where the DVD stereo track has the left channel with one language and the right channel has another?
I assume this is an Asian movie - I understand that it is common to have a player that can choose the language that you need.

If this is the case, the movie has to be demuxed to separate streams (that is the video, audio and subtitles are extracted) the audio stream is processed to remove the unwanted channel and a new stereo stream created from the remaining channel.
Finally the video, audio and subtitles are put back together to make a new DVD.

I don't know of a single program that can do this - but it can be done as a series of simple steps using freeware programs - it just looks complicated at first glance.

    The steps are:

1 VOBEDIT- Demux the VOB files in the 'VIDEO_TS' folder to m2v,ac3, etc.
2 PX3- Convert AC3 audio to WAV format.
3 Audacity- Load wav, adjust audio and output New WAV
4 FFMPEGGui- Convert New WAV to New AC3
5-MUXMAN- Mux m2v with New AC3 into New VOB (a New VOB folder with all the required files is created)

    vobedit
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/VobEdit

Run VobEdit > 'Open', select VTS_01_1.VOB (the first large VOB of the title, the rest will come in at the same time).
'Demux' > select 'Demux Multiple Streams at once'
The files will be saved as an .m2v ,ac3 and .sup if subtitles were selected.

    px3 ac3 to wav
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/PX3_AC3_to_WAV

Load the ac3 and select an output name eg ac3.wav

    Audacity:get the stable version.
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_software/audio_tools/audacity.cfm

If the left and right channels have different language do this;use ▼ to select the drop down menu to split the stereo track.
Highlight the channel to remove and use 'x' to remove it.
(The drop down, context menu is on the left side of the stream)

*Use this link tutorial to convert to stereo.
    or use the *note below.
    http://chacadwa.com/book/export/html/35

Export the audio as 'new.wav' (File => Export as WAV..)

    ffmpeggui
    http://download2.videohelp.com/download/ffmpeggui03c.zip

Load new.wav and save as new.ac3

    muxman
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Muxman

Load the video .m2v, the subtitles .sup and the new audio 'new.ac3'
Indicate the language of the audio and subtitles.
Press 'Start', a new DVD folder is created.

*After splitting the stereo track and removing the one channel
Use 'Ctrl A' to Copy the remaining channel and 'Ctrl D' to duplicate.
Use the context menu on first track to make it the left hannel;repeat for second track to make right channel.
On left channel context menu - "make stero track" - the channels join up.
    Export as wav file.

    I think that's it.Good luck.
