I have managed to network my home computers up but I don’t know how to secure it up. I have a Dlink DSL 604+ router and 2 DWL 520 wireless network cards and I can share files and use the internet on all my computers. I’m not sure how to set it up so it is secure. The settings I have are below, anyone could give me any tips on what I should do next.

    win xp
network authentification: Open, Shared, WPA, WPA-PSK
    Data encryption: Disabled, WEP
    Key Index

    DLink DSL 604 + Router
    WEP State: Disabled, 64, 128, 256 bit
    WEP Key Format: Hex, String
    WEP Key:

    Win 98se
    Authentication mode: Open, Shared, Auto
    Key Format: Hex, ASCII
    WEP State: Disabled, 64, 128, 256 bit

ok this can be easy/hard. hopefully you have a easy one. know the first thing you are going to wan't to do is goto your web browser(i.e. IE,firefox, opera) and type in 192.168.0.1 and if that does not work then type in 192.168.1.1 now when it works it is going to ask you for a username and password. Their are multible usernames and passwords that it might take, the most coman would be username:admin password:password the other one will be username:admin password:admin or username:admin password:

now once you are loged in just go to the security tab. and set up your wep keys
