Hi All, I have a softmodded xbos with Avalaunch and I just got a 50" Sony LCD. I CANNOT change any of my resolution or video details in Avalaunch because it tells me my HD is locked. I can't unlock it cause its a softmod. Is there any software that can help me change my video settings? Thanks!
If you refer back to the original M$ dash, you should be able to set it to 1080i, as long as you are using the correct hi-def cables, not just the original. Or, you can switch to the XBMC dash setup(What I did with my soft), and set it to 1080i for pretty.
Is there any tutorials that can help me re-setup my MS Dash? Right now I have XBMC as an app within my dash. Do I have to use XBMC as my default dash to change the video?
If you don't make it your default, you'll have to switch to it everytime you boot up if you want to use 1080i. So it'd probably be a good idea to just switch. Anyone with a hard mod mind checking if Avalaunch forces you to reboot upon unlocking the hard drive and enabling 1080i? I'd check it myself, but my chip died several months ago and since then I've been running on a soft mod.
