When I used NERO to burn a VCD from an avi file which is about 7x5cm on my monitor it gave me a FULL SCREEN video on my TV screen ... with a much lower video quality as a result. Is there any way that I can get NERO to retain the video size i.e. the picture size and the quality of the video? I'm a newbie & senior citizen, so kindly pardon me if I'm not making any sense. Regards, Kon
The VCD Format only uses a Resolution of 352x240 which on your PC takes up a Very Small Window but on your TV set it gets resized to Fullscreen which Of Course Lowers the Quality of the Image.... The Bad News is that there is Nothing you can Do about this accept to Not Make VCD"s from your AVI files...If you want Better Quality on your TV set you have to use a Format that uses a Higher Resolution (Your AVI files also have to use a High Resolution or the Quality will be degraded by Resizeing to the Higher Resolution)... You should Consider Makeing Standard DVD"s as they use a Resolution over 400% higher than VCD Resolution so you will get a Much Better Picture Quality on your TV set...Also DVD Burners are Extremely Cheap these days (Under $50) and the Blank DVD"s are as Cheap or Cheaper than CD-R"s and Can hold 6 Times as Much... Cheers
