isnt it funny no one responds.

first you need to flash your bios. have you done that?

if not, aquire the bios of your choice. some are legal bios' (ones that dont do anything good :) and other bios' like the x3 bios are the ones "recommended". these are "illegal" so they arent just out there, you have to go find them, the usual places have them if you look hard enough.

once you have the bios of your choice, then you need to flash, the easiest way to do that is to go here teamxecuter.com/flashbios

it will walk you through what to do next to get off that flashbios screen.

    gsuscrazy,
You mentioned to flash your bios. I understand it needs to be done. I did go to team xecuter and they have on tutorial which says flashing via HD. Can I just do that and be good to go to the next step? Or do I have to find a bio on to download from the PC?

If I download from the PC can I put it onto a cd-rw and then put that into my xbox or does it have to be by USB?

    Any help will be appreciated

Yeah hi I have the same chip all you have to do is:
    1. Select the internet option or network (forgot the name)
    2. Type in the IP address in the address bar of you computer
    3. Click upload select the .bin file then ok then flash
    4. You will see the flashing screen on your TV
    5. Your Xbox will shut down after it’s done
    6. Turn on your Xbox again and you screen should show up

I'm having the same problem, according to every tutorial I've read this thing should be working by now.

I have the xecuter3 chip installed, the switch is set to on,on,off, off, off.

I can boot the xbox to either the MS dashboard or to the xecuter flash screen

I downloaded a couple of different .bin files to try and flash the bios with. I tried flashing through http (ftp connections were denied), and I created a DVD with the bios (and dummy file).

In all of my attempts to flash the bios, everything appeared to work correctly. The screen flashed telling me it was upgrading and then the xbox turned off, as it was supposed too.

However when I turned the box back on, in every case it FRAG'ed and I had to reload the flash from the backup rom in order to turn the xbox back on.

If anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong here I would really appreciate it. I've put a decent amount of money and a lot of time into this and so far have nothing to show for it. I just want to get xbmc running on it.

    Thank you.

RCman90, I am assuming I need some sort of cable to connect this. Probably an ethernet cable?

If I get one I have a Verizon modem for high speed. There is only one ethernet port in my lap top so how to I go about making this connection?

What do I need to by in order to do this?
Also if i have the files in my C drive can I just make the transfer from that?

    Thanks for the help
