I have 5 files i want to join. 4 of them seem to be encoded the same and 1 has difernt video/audio rates. How can i merge these. These are all from the same movie. So i dont know why one would be encoded differntly. How can i fix this?

I had the same problem. I tried to join two SVCD format files with tmpgenc to a single mpg file, but I failed. The files were produced by imtoo from a (peseudo) DVD disc. I was succeeded using dvdlab pro by picking theese two files. to a single project. Dvdlab pro splits to audio and video files and if the file has the format of 44.1 kHz can transcode it, on the fly, to the 48 kHz format. Ensure also if the source video files are e.g. ntsc and the project setings for the compilation are'nt in pal format.
