Hello, I would like to know if there is any program that can join a movie and a subtitle into one so that I can then burn the avi or divx files onto a dvd. I already have the subtitles but I just need to know how to join it. If anyone know please give me some advice. Thanks.

    For avi, virtualdubmod.
For mpeg-2 (DVD), DVDLAb Pro, or tmpgenc dvd author.

VirtualDubMod can't mux subs to avi, only ogm and mkv. AVIMuxGUI can mux subs to avi, however you are better off just leaving them seperate.

For DivX, they have a new creator app or you can use srt2bmp/fuse to mux.

There is a subtitle filter for virtualdub(mod), which allows you to hard code external subs into an avi.
