I have a sony DVD player that will display the name of some DVD's is it possible to add this feature to DVD'S I burn ? I back up some bought movies and and convert VHS to DVD .
you can do this with nero just open movie file click next then right click on the picture in the box and change the name to whatever you want and when it boots on your dvd player youll see it
there is the option of make your own dvd-video when you open nero then it will come up with nero vision express and then select 2nd picture down to add video files you then search for the the video file and add it to your project you then click next close the 2 popup boxes and then do as what i said in last reply and if you click on edit you can change background ie/footer text/ anyway play around with it and learn your way, but make sure you have the right codecs installed or you wont see these options. do searchers on this site and you will find guides on most things you search for good luck
Thanks for the help, but what I am wanting to do is fix the movie or disc so it will show the title on the display on my dvd player, not the tv. Some disc I have bought or rented will display it on the lcd screen of the player.
IFOEdit will most likley do it. Open the .ifo file on one of the DVDs that displays the name. Campare that to ones that do not. Add this to the .ifo files on your DVDs and use the fix it on IFOEdit. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd-r_tools/ifoedit.cfm
