i read somewhere that hd and blu ray dvd players can play an hd signal from a normal dvd-r (NOT a HD-DVD) if its authored the right way... if this is true, how do you do it? getting high res xvids then just hacking them down to 480 to make dvds is an excursive in futility.
well, you can put an hd-dvd on to a cd-r (realy short one), but no im quite positive that a hd-dvd will not play and hd-dvd on a dvd-r, it's just not physicaly posible
