hey can someone please post me a link as to where i can read a tutorial on how to make a xbox usb conector i want to be able to hook up my flash drive so i can transfer modded maps and possibly hook up an external hdd. so can some one post a link?
Do a google search on your subject. xbox scene has a good illustrated guide. Here is a suggestion: Get a USB extension cable, one with a plug, the other with a receptacle, the rectangular kind, not the square-ish type. If you are commfortable with a soldering iron, cut the extension cable in half and solder BOTH sides into the XBOX controller plug (the stock breakaway type). Now you have a universal adapter. You can plug your USB flash drive into the XBOX (with the controller disconnected), and you can use your XBOX controller in your PC with the XBOX controller drivers avaiable on the net. Otherwise, just do a search on ebay. I first bought 2 for about $10 (shipping included), but then just made another one with an old controller cable. Good luck
ok well i got my usb cable... great so i pluged in my mp3 (it works as a flash drive aswell) any ways so i did that and then knowing me i formated .......WIPED IT CLEAN!!! no there is not the proper soft ware no idea how to fix it? i will also post this in a different forum.
