ok guys. i have the 1st complete season of Martin on dvd. it has 7 episodes on each disc. the only way to play the disc is from the episode index menu. after one episode plays, the dvd returns back to the episode index menu. what i want to happen is, all episode to play right after one another without having to go back to the episode index menu and play the next track. for example, if i choose ep1, i want it to play ep2 after ep1 is over and so one until the last ep is played, then return to the episode index menu. i want to keep the dvd like it is, i just want to change how it plays the episodes. so maybe there is a way to edit some of the .ifo files or something. can anyone help me out please?
there is an application called tmpgenc dvd author. One of its functions allows you to select what you want to do, this option needs to be selected before you burn your project to disc. For more infomation i think you will find if you browse the guide section from the tab at the top of the page and look at the advanced tmpgenc tutorial you will come across the image below This inessence is what you wish to achieve. zei
ok, thanks. i have that program and am very efficient using the program, but it does not have the features that i want. i want to keep the menus as on the original dvd. i don't want to reencode the video. i just want to maybe edit some of the .ifo files so that after each episode, it automatically plays the next, unless of course it is the last episode, then it is fine for the dvd to jump to the main menu. there are programs called DvdReMake Pro or ifoEdit that allows you to edit the .ifo files of a dvd, but i don't know how to use the program to do what i'm trying to accomplish. does anyone know how to use either of those programs to do what i am trying to do? again zeiram, thanks for your knowledge. it was greatly appreciated.
