How to make MATSHITA dvd-Ram UJ-8415 region free?

    Can anybody help me? I cannot play region 1 anymore - my Toshiba labtop is set for region 2 and shows 0 times for the change to any other regions.

    Is there a free download somewhere?

    I have a sneaking suspicion that AnyDvd does not like Matshita drives, still worth a try though...

    I have any DVD installed but it did not make it region free.
