Well...I have an SD card filled with all contents: files and videos. But I'd like it to be used and shared with other people but I don't want those people, whom I share the SD with, delete the files or transfer the files inside the SD card. Therefore, I would like to make it write protected but you could use the content in the SD. How can I do that if my sd card is Kingston.
You could engage the write protect switch and then glue it. ". . . . transfer the files inside the SD card." There is no way to prevent people from copying the files off of the card (or inside the card as well), if that's what you mean.
I did this to one of my cards by accident last week.. set the whole thing to the wrong owner.. could read and copy but could not delete or write any more to it... and as it was from a solaris machine with a few bugs still in the OS I couldn't even use that to do anything about it. madness  Try going up a level and making the whole drive directory read only.. or put the files in a folder on the drive and doing the same... but it's way too easy to log in as administrator with doze and just take it off again XD
