First you need to do a lot of researching and reading. There are 2 types: Softmod and hardmod. Softmod does not need modchip and does not need to open your xbox. So you xbox is still in warranty. Just read a lot of Softmod tutorials to understand more about processing of softmod. A lot of ppl doing this mod now. For hardmod, you need to know: 1/ A modchip. Instruction to install that modchip on your xbox version. Intruction how to flash bios. 2/ An autoinstaller disk. This will make the job very easy.
can i back up my games and play them as well using a mod chip? and where can i get an aouto intaller disk?
