How do you mod Halo 2 maps that you download. I was able to ftp to my xbox and get the maps from the hard drive. But it never works when I placed the modded maps back in. It gives me a fail to load map.
You will need to d/l CMR (Coolspots Map Resigner) or SameSig2. If you applied a ppf to the map, I would resign the map after it is applied. I dont know how knew you are to modding, but did you put the ppf on the hdd? If so...thats why you are having the problem.
I patched the map with ppf-o-matic and then i resigned it with a halo 2 map signer. And it still gives me a fail to load map.
