How to multi region dvd burner

    I have a nec dvd dual format burner set at region 4 I currently use dvdshrink to back up discs and pinnacle and nero to create my own.
    When I back up a region 1 disc I have to adjust the region code of the burner and it warns me I only have 2 changes left !!
    Is there any way of multi regioning the drive

    seeing as you are using shrink then why not just set your region option (in back up) to region free. this way you have no need to use all your "lives" on your burner.
