I have for the first time got a ripped blu ray film on my PC. Is there any software that can play the ripped blu ray folder structure on my PC.
The folder structure starts with the:
    BDMV folder which contains:
    BACKUP
    CLIPINF
    PLAYLIST
    STREAM
    index.bdmv
    MovieObject.bdmv
I currently use Nero for most of my DVD projects.
Any help for my first venture into blu ray (before I purchase a player )would be appreciated

VLC will not play movies encoded in VC-1. VLC is crap anyways so don't use it. I will leave it up to you to discover the best media player.

Hint: Its a port from linux.

Media Player Classic, with the proper codecs pack and filters. Use K-Lite mega codec pack, or CCCP. Also Haali Media Splitter.

If you have a Blu-Ray drive then you probably received a copy of PowerDVD BD version with it. To play it get a free copy of Imgburn and convert the file to an ISO, then using an application such as Daemon tools mount it and it will then playback in PowerDVD.
